Old Stonegate was the perfect venue to have my daughters wedding. We new we were in good hands from the very beginning. Melissa promptly answered any questions we had. She was very helpful and making sure that our daughters wedding day was perfect.
There were so many compliments on how beautiful and manicured the property is. There are 3 different options to have your wedding on the property. We used the carriage house for cocktail hour and for the hors d'oeuvres.
The farmhouse is perfect for the bridal party. The house had so many accommodations making it very easy for the bridal party to get ready. The bridal sweet was spot on. Lots of room to spread out, get ready, lounge and relax.
The rustic barn is absolutely beautiful! It has many options to plan your perfect wedding or event. When we arrived on Saturday, Melissa and Doug had the tables, chairs and linens set up. Bonus-the venue comes with white linens and Melissa has a wide variety of decor that you can also use. Also, there is cornhole, fire pits, and plenty of seating outside to just sit and relax.
At the end of the night, Melissa and Doug were there to help in any way they could.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a rustic barn wedding or event. Melissa and Doug are wonderful and easy to work with. I cannot say enough!

This is the perfect venue if you want the rustic barn feel! Melissa and Doug are absolutely amazing and such a huge help from the day you book all the way until the end of your wedding night. The carriage house is beautiful and the perfect spot to get ready and relax before the big day. Both ceremony sites are gorgeous and the decoration closet is such a huge perk and money saver. The barn is beautiful on its own so minimal decorations are needed. It’s awesome that chairs, tables, and linens are included and already set up once you arrive. It rained the morning of my special day and Melissa hand dried each on before my ceremony started. If I had to do it all over again I would choose this venue without any hesitation!
Old StoneGate Farms
Old StoneGate farms was the most perfect place for us to hold our wedding, we were looking at barn venues and a lot of them didn’t come with bathrooms, or same spot for ceremony and reception old StoneGate offered both & so much more! I’m obsessed with the house they let you have the day off to get ready in on site, it is just stunning the natural build of brick to the wallpaper. STUNNING!

Old Stonegate Farms was the most incredible place to have a wedding. Every guest commented on how beautiful the space was and how much fun they had. The house on the property was so much fun to get ready in and the outdoor space provided amazing pictures. Melissa and Doug were incredibly accommodating and helped us plan the perfect day. Melissa communicated often throughout the planning process and was always open to letting us come to the venue if we had questions or wanted to show family the property. Even with last minute rain they helped us prepare for an indoor ceremony quickly. I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue!

Amazing venue! Melissa and Doug are the sweetest people! Melissa works with you at every step of the process. We didn’t need a bunch of visits, but she does allow you to schedule times to see decorations/layout and make a plan. It is a super affordable option because it’s on the lower end for price- but you also save money with the collection of decorations she has! We were able to cater olive garden for the wedding (please do this- it was cheaper than a taco bar from a catering place) to save money as they allow catering and don’t have specific food to buy. The only requirement was having their bar service (Pour choices) due to liability reasons. BUT that ended up being VERY affordable and great to work with. The house was especially nice if you’re wanting hair and makeup to be on site. They have a great getting ready space for both the bride/bridesmaids and grooms/groomsmen. I highly recommend!! It was the perfect day!

Wow what a perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding . It was affordable , spacious , classy but relaxed !!!!! we received so many compliments from guests on the “flow” of the layout & the “flow “ of the day . We used the gorgeous farmhouse for getting ready & for feeding our family & friends who were helping us setup . We even had one guest say he wished he could change his wedding venue to OSF after attending ours . There are a few barns in GR & other towns that we visited prior to checking out OSF but this one just has everything. I had some concerns with the OTHER barns after visiting them mainly for our elderly guests that would be attending because there were so many areas where they could trip as they had uneven floors or stairs or decks . NOT at old stonegate - as soon as I saw the nice level concrete floor , no stairs , no deck, & even walking for grandparents it sold me. And let me tell you this place is a photographers dream - the historic home has unique rooms , & the aged brick, windows and doors make for very interesting backdrops. . Not only is the barn beautiful but the grounds are amazing. Photographers do not like full sun . There are massive trees that help shade ,so almost anywhere you are on the farm you take a good picture and get out of the sun . This is a game changer for your photographer and your guests on a warm day. And for some of the guests that are not interested in dancing, they enjoyed playing cornhole on the front lawn. This really helped to space out people and make room for people to move around freely. We also used the carriage house for our charcuterie for cocktail hour which also helped spread out the crowd. If you are worried about being cramped OSF is the place for you -lots of room to sprawl out. Plenty of parking. Doug and Melissa were very responsive anytime we asked questions prior and also the day of setting up. Some places charge you for decorations, but not OSF they have a closet full of decor for you to use for free.
And any guest that needs a ride home at the end of the night is welcome to leave their car there till the next morning. We had a great day and a great evening and wouldn’t have changed anything. We chose Old Stonegate Farms for my son and his fiancee to get married in October of 2025. The venue is beautiful and Melissa was very helpful and made sure everything was set up perfectly for the big day! They have a lovely home you can get ready in with plenty of room for all the ladies and men to get ready for the big day without seeing each other. The outdoor venue is beautiful and the barn is very rustic but elegant as well! We were thrilled with the venue and the helpfulness of the entire staff!

From the day we toured the venue site Doug and Melissa were fantastic to work with.
They answered questions in a very timely manor. ( like an hour) .
They truly are passionate about what they do. Having everything on site is a dream. Getting ready in the farmhouse was so amazing from it be comfy and cozy and even being able to shower there. They are very detailed oriented and I love the “30 day prior “ walk through to nail down those details.
Using Pour Choices bar tending service’s was easy too. You can tell they have a great working relationship.
Doug and Melissa love what they do and it definitely shows from the immaculate grounds to lending a helping hand when necessary. Thank you!!
