At Old Stonegate Farms, you don’t need to worry about finding a separate ceremony site, as we have 3 beautiful outdoor ceremony locations on-site. Whether you’re looking for an intimate wooded setting, a private farm setting, or a stunning water feature as your backdrop, we have you covered.

Our large water feature is the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. With dulcet sounds of the babbling water and the sun glinting off the pool, your pictures and ceremony will be simply magical.

Tucked behind the barn is another wedding ceremony site with farmed fields providing a rustic backdrop for your vows. In the fall, you can enjoy the stunning scenery of crops ready to be harvested.

Adjacent to the farmhouse is a ceremony site best enjoyed in the late summer and early fall. Celebrate your love story in this intimate space, surrounded by the gentle embrace of the boughs.

What if it rains? We know that no matter how much you wish for the perfect sunny day, rain in West Michigan occasionally happens. If it rains, our barn functions as a ceremony venue and the glittering chandeliers and rustic barn wood make a stunning backdrop for your ceremony.

In July 2023, we updated the restrooms with modern fixtures and installed epoxy flooring in both the barn and carriage house, ensuring your comfort and the seamless flow of your special day.

That’s why we offer you exclusive access to the historic Blaine Farmhouse on the morning of your celebration. This stunning two-story Victorian, named after our mothers, is more than just a place to get ready – it’s your private oasis to relax, create lasting memories with loved ones, and prepare for your big moment.

Built in 1867, Blaine boasts a rich history that blends seamlessly with modern comfort. In 2023, the farmhouse received a loving interior refresh, featuring beautifully replastered ceilings and freshly painted walls accentuated by elegant crown molding. The result? A warm and inviting space bathed in natural light, perfect for setting the tone for your special day.

Blaine offers a dedicated space for the bride, groom, their close family & wedding party to relax and get ready, available at 8 am the day of your celebration. You’ll be drawn to the newly plastered 10+ foot ceilings throughout! From one of the two porches, enter the first floor, offering a fully equipped kitchen where the bridal party can prepare breakfast, mimosas, and lunch. To maintain the surprise of the “first look,” close the doors to the adjoining dining room. From the kitchen, continue to our farmhouse’s original parlor with beefy leather couch and 48” smart TV. Beyond the pocket doors is another large room where the groom and his guys will hang out and maybe play foosball. In addition, we provide wi-fi that offers the convenience of using your favorite streaming service to have the big game on in the background while the guys get ready. The entire first floor of the farmhouse is the guy’s domain and includes a large suite with a bathroom, providing space for the groom and his party to get ready for the big day leisurely!

The second floor is accessed via the original servant’s stairs. At the top of the landing, we’ve created a space for kids who might be hanging out for the day. There is a second smart TV, games, puzzles, a wooden table with four chairs, plus comfy bean bag chairs. Up a few more steps is where the bride and her tribe get ready! There is a full bathroom with a tub shower, vanity with vintage mirrors and double sinks, plus an additional makeup station. Snoop around, and you’ll find towels, shampoo, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, and other things you may need to freshen up after DIYing the reception barn. Across the hall is the Glam Room, with three salon chairs and lots of natural light for the girls to do their makeup & hair. The bride has her own large bridal suite that boasts a spectacular 10’x4′ mirror – a charming farmhouse original. Loop around to another room for the bridesmaids to get dressed. Finally, there is a bedroom with an ensuite that the guys can use to shower by sneaking up the farmhouse’s main grand staircase.
